Hey, any updates? I have the exact same issue and I am contemplating returning the motherboard.
(b760 gigabyte, i5 13600k, new setup.)

Hello, yes, RESOLVED.
It turned out that the CPU socket had a few bent pins (
https://prnt.sc/jcBk5FZsRFE1
) - local service identified them.
Not sure if it came from ASUS or if I somehow damaged them during the initial assembly.
ASUS declined to replace it under warranty (fine, maybe fair) and support was one of the most unhelpful I have experienced - for instance, they suggested that RAM is not on the QVL list until I provided a screenshot from their own site.
Local service personnel also cautioned that ASUS has been encountering numerous issues with RAM compatibility, BIOS stability, etc., in recent years.
Final outcome - purchased a comparable MSI motherboard, build quality and overall experience appear much improved.

I'm pleased you discovered a solution.
I have a similar experience with gigabyte support; they suggest that every other component of my computer may be faulty but not the board.
Checked my socket but it appears fine.

I believe I'll just return the motherboard because it disrupts my peace of mind. Regards.
