slots b1 and b2 are stuck together—they won’t start at all. I’ve tested every mix to get it running. The truth is, having extra RAM in b1, b2, or just b1 or b2 doesn’t help; it only causes issues, making it boot in a1 and a2 instead.

Ensure you follow the instructions at 4:29. Each channel connects in a specific way, so every stick must be set up for dual channel.

slots b1 and b2 are stuck together... they won't start at all. I've tested every mix to get it running. The truth is, having extra RAM in any of those slots doesn't help—it just prevents the system from launching.

I'm planning to switch the CPU soon—it'll take some time, but I'll keep you updated.

No worries, brother! Thanks for your support—it's working! The problem seemed to be a lack of thermal paste.

It's quite funny watching the tech challenge. I just saw Steve and Jay compete for just two cents, but Jay missed the same thing. The temps were normal, he was scoring, but it wasn't the thermal paste that mattered. I changed the 3700x and it worked perfectly. Then I replaced the 5900x, applied fresh thermal paste, and everything was fine. Now all slots are firing strong—good RAM, good board, and good CPU. Thanks for helping me sort this out!
