When playing third person games, I usually grab a controller unless the game relies heavily on shortcuts. Otherwise, I prefer kb+m. Grand Theft Auto appears designed for third person, and the first person mode in GTA 5 doesn’t appeal to me.
I enjoy open world games such as GTA just as I did with Halo and Halo 2, using a controller held in lap for driving control.
