I improved the score by following these steps:
1) Closed the Google Chrome browser.
2) Set the power option to high performance.
3) Launched Asus tweak II and adjusted the GPU to "oc mode"

Nice, yeah when you run the test it helps to close all background programs.
*Hey, give DSR 1440 a shot, the score should improve by a dime.
It’s not a deep test, but I run it before the game just to see how things look.
.. Keke did a few trials and the average came pretty close to the top.

I’m thinking about getting an i7 with 16GB RAM, maybe skipping the G-Skill and using Corsair RGB lights if the case arrives. That would be cool if it comes.
2 more months, sigh.
*Oh by the way, do you keep your power option on ADAPTIVE?*

Do you think the vcore in the BIOS is correct? I leave it on auto.
On Windows, I usually keep the power setting balanced.
I overclocked my GPU quite a bit—it seems like it could beat my GTX1070, and I don’t want you to push me to tweak further! Lol, I know I could still boost the memory speed by another 500-600 MHz, or maybe even 50 more from the core. The ASUS GTX1070 overclocked version is already near its top speed.

You overclocked you gpu alot it looks like to beat my gtx1070 and overall score lol, don't make me start tweaking mine further! Lol, I know I can still push a extra 500-600mhz out of the memory if I wanted, maybe another 50mhz more out of the core. The asus gtx 1070 overclocked edition already is close to maxing the core speeds though
what? vcore? i never talked about vcore.
the power.. im talkin about the nvidia control panel settings not the computer
as for the overclocking..no actually i just push what ever i can to get performance. has nothing to do with beating u.. in my own little world, ive already beaten everyone at something at some point.
hey its up to u how u tweak and why u tweak =p
...and im just gonna say this just to push u..
U got beat by an underdog newbie!
but id like to see u max out. im pretty close to maxing out i just settled for a bit cuz i found forza crashing ALOT iono i think theres something wrong with the game either that or something is messed up on my end. for example.. im using the xbo controller to play and some of the binded buttons dont even work. and on top of that.. some times the start button doesnt even work. then i started binding those buttons like telemetry to my mouse button .. then sometimes that doesnt work.. beats me
btw if anyone wanna do some street racing.. i got my S2000 running S1 almost as good as i can tune it!

You're asking about the core in the BIOS? No, I keep it on auto.
In Windows power settings, I usually leave it balanced.
I often overclock my GPU a bit to try and beat my GTX1070, but don’t push me further! I can still squeeze out another 500-600 MHz from the memory if needed, maybe a bit more from the core. The ASUS GTX 1070 overclocked version is already near its top speed.
What? Core voltage? I never mentioned that before.
Regarding power settings, I’m talking about the NVIDIA control panel, not the whole system.
For overclocking, I just try to push as much as possible to improve performance. It’s not about beating others—it’s about what works for me.
In my experience, I’ve already surpassed everyone in similar situations.
It’s all about how you tweak and why you do it.
Just saying this to get you going.
You might be beaten by someone new who’s an underdog!
But I’d like to see you push your limits.
I’m pretty close to reaching the limit, but I settled for a bit because I found Forza crashing a lot. I think there’s an issue with the game or my setup. For example, some buttons don’t respond at all, and even the start button sometimes fails. I’ve started mapping those buttons to my mouse for telemetry, but it still doesn’t work sometimes.
Also, if anyone wants to try street racing, I’m running my S2000 S1 almost as well as I can adjust it!
It’s all about optimal power.
Try running Forza with your system at default settings. I also have Forza, but it runs perfectly for me—never crashes and consistently hits 80-100 FPS in city mode, usually above 60 FPS in Surfers Paradise at 1080p ultra settings. The controller works flawlessly.
Many people are facing problems with Forza, though. I got the game after the latest update, so you might try uninstalling and reinstalling it to see if that helps.

You're asking about the vcore in the BIOS, but I understand you mean the power settings on Windows. In the power options, I usually keep it balanced. Overclocking my GPU seems to give me an edge over my GTX1070, but I don’t want to tweak further. I could push another 500-600 MHz from the memory, or maybe even 50 more MHz from the core. The ASUS GTX 1070 overclocked version is already near its core speed limit.

What about the vcore? I never mentioned it before. Regarding overclocking, I just try to push as much performance as possible for better results. It has nothing to do with beating others—it’s just about getting the most out of my setup.

As for the power settings, I’m talking about the NVIDIA control panel, not the computer itself. For overclocking, I just adjust what I can to improve performance. In my experience, it’s not about beating others—it’s about personal optimization.

If you’re interested in pushing performance, I’d suggest testing it with stock settings first. Running Forza with the default configuration works perfectly for me, and I consistently hit 80-100 FPS in city mode and above 60 FPS in Surfers Paradise at 1080p. The controller is responsive, and I haven’t had major issues.

If you’re looking to race, I’d recommend checking your setup and ensuring everything is optimized. Let me know if you need help with anything specific!
