Learned to trim specs for low-end builds, PC died during games. Checked everything online and tried all options. No fixes found. Upgraded to a brand-new machine—all parts fresh except monitors and keyboard. Those two didn’t work. Same problem with the new one. PC shuts down while gaming. Same tests as before. Memtest, BIOS updates, RAM checks—nothing helped.

P.P.S. Both computers run Windows 11. The first one is just a suggestion—it’s currently in its new place, waiting in the closet until needed.

He seems to be getting a fresh power source. His temperatures appear to be stable.

I understand. If the system is idle, it becomes very hot upon startup—consider running a test with cinebench (enter advanced mode and perform a throttle test). After that, use HWinfo64 in sensors-only mode (notify at program start, enable sensors only). Let it operate for 10 minutes and observe the temperatures or check if it shuts down.

PC shutdown happens due to overheating or electrical problems. The heat can trigger safety cutoffs, or power issues may arise from the CPU or motherboard. Often the board is the main culprit, not just the power supply unit.

Humor can also serve a purpose. Pet fur may enter a computer and need more regular maintenance. Make sure to clean the inside of the PC for better performance. This aids in temperature regulation and easier future cleanings.

It's possible your computer would shut down occasionally even when running at full power because of minor voltage fluctuations. Switching to a lower wattage CPU cooler helped eliminate the issue. The problem might have been related to sudden power surges during idle mode, though it's hard to pinpoint without more details.
