i’ll do whatever it takes to resolve this problem. I’ve tested nearly everything. My concern is micro stutters or minor lag, not fully clear what’s causing it. This affects my whole PC – I mainly notice it in games, but sometimes even basic mouse actions feel sluggish or barely responsive.

PC specs: x670e tachi by ASRock, BIOS 1.18 4090 suprim. I’ve tried the 2080 ti and it’s the same. RAM is 32GB CL30 6k, but I switched to CL32 with 5800 and 5600 without much improvement. Timings tightened on the 6k version, but it’s stable there.

Monitor: 1440p at 1ms refresh rate, 144hz, 2nd monitor is 240hz at 1080p. I’ve used GeForce Experience to download drivers and install them manually via Steam, but issues persist. Tried disabling experimental mode in BIOS and reinstalling Windows, but nothing changes.

Audio is fine everywhere. Temperatures are normal on hardware. I’ve checked with UserBenchmark and ran a system health check, but no changes.

I’m still using Windows 10, and it’s better than Windows 11 for me. I’ll stick with it unless something changes.

Have you received the most recent BIOS release? I understand it brought performance boosts for the 7000 series X3D.

I think so, if you mean the 3D V-Cache performance optimizer among others.

I faced a comparable problem earlier with a multi-screen Ryzen/Nvidia configuration. Disconnecting everything except one monitor resolved it, and I gradually reintroduced each display. It became clear the issue arose when the 30Hz monitor was active. The final solution was setting that display to 60Hz.

Verify your mouse polling rate. Adjust the gaming mouse to 250 and see if micro stutter remains.

I’d rather avoid dropping my polling count below 1k, even to 500. I’ve tested both wireless and wired mice but the problem still exists. I’m open to checking polling settings just for troubleshooting, though I’m not sure it’ll help if it doesn’t improve.
