I watched the tutorial at the provided link. After that, I attempted to reinstall the driver, but it didn't make a difference.
Execute "dism" and "sfc /scannow" through the Command Prompt. Windows might detect and resolve some associated problem files.
Check Reliabiity History/Monitor and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or informational events logged during printer-related actions.
Run the Get-PNPDevice cmdlet using PowerShell.
Scour the resulting long list for any mentions of the printer or printing.
Post accordingly.
Did you install the AC power supply? The printer isn't connected via USB-C (or likely needs to be fully charged). Check if the printer shows up briefly in these utilities:

I'm thinking power problem, too. That brief turn-on-then-off suggests the battery is NOT fully charged so the printer can run for only a few seconds. When you get the AC adapter, ensure the printer's battery is fully charged before trying again. BUT before you get that, you CAN charge the battery simply by connecting the printer to your computer using the USB cable and leaving that connected for many hours, WITHOUT trying to install the diver. AFTER the battery is charged, disconnect and follow the driver instruction sequence again.
Finally got the AC cable yesterday, and that’s all there was to it. It’s strange since it wasn’t included with the printer and had to be bought separately. Brother didn’t mention the AC cable at all. I’ve used many different portable printers before, and they all worked with the same USB A/C cable. The printer turned on with the USB connection, but it wouldn’t stay on or get recognized properly? None of the sellers for that printer mentioned the AC cable was necessary. Either way, it now works perfectly.
I anticipate the scenario as follows. The printer draws more power than the USB3 connection can provide. (That port delivers 5 VDC up to a maximum of 0.90 A.) Yet the printer has its own rechargeable battery, which can meet the required power needs. This battery can be recharged in two ways: it will automatically charge when not in use as long as it remains connected to the USB3 port while the computer is active. Alternatively, you can plug in an AC adapter, and it will draw power from the wall regardless of whether the printer is still connected to the USB3 port. In reality, using the AC cable provides sufficient power even if the internal battery isn’t fully charged.
I believe the main issue was that the printer’s internal battery wasn’t fully charged initially.

There was no battery pack included either, which is a separate purchase. Additionally, this model lacks wireless features like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, another reason I assumed it would only work with the USB cable.
