hey everyone, i'm facing a really bothersome stuttering issue that feels similar to what you might see in a video, but it's actually the same lag and freezing when i try to call it. i've been trying to solve this for over a year, and even after replacing my ssd, it didn't help. i've tested everything i can think of—my specs are an i7-7700 with 16gb ram, a 1tb hdd, and a brand new 500gb ssd, plus a gtx 1070. i really hope someone can assist me.

Stuttering can stem from various factors. The configuration of your system might play a role, as could a powerful power supply, a moved PCIe card, or an updated BIOS. Even changing an accessory to a different USB port can contribute.

restarted windows multiple times, mostly tweaked GeForce settings, used Rivatuner to cap performance, boosted GPU overclocking, performed debloat, updated regristy, disabled services, followed every optimization guide, swapped to a new SSD, unplugged second monitor plus old HDD, adjusted monitor configurations, experimented with different keyboard layouts, updated GPU drivers for the old GPU, modified gaming mouse polling rates, turned off LEDs everywhere, managed pagefile and memory cleanup, and likely tried more. If you have anything to share, please let me know.

I only attempted to turn off hyperthreading because I wasn’t sure about the other settings.

It seems you've used your hardware mostly without much interaction except for the SSD. Would you try testing your PC with other parts? I'd suggest swapping out the GPU first, though—I'm not very experienced.

You're correct, but I'm not able to afford a different GPU at the moment. The stress tests indicated the GPU performs well.

I enjoy reviewing case openings or monitoring temperatures. The equipment is running, but it’s not operating smoothly. There seems to be an issue with maintaining performance.
