I recently moved from XBOX to PC after assembling a budget gaming setup and I'm enjoying it. My first game is Battlefield 4, and I'm still getting used to controlling with keyboard and mouse instead of a controller. If anyone has advice or wants to share a game, please reach out. I'm aiming to improve my sniping skills, so if you know any good snipers, let me know! I've shared my latest post and would appreciate constructive feedback or even some fun banter. I was really thrilled when I first pulled off the noob tube kill at the beginning!

The only real guidance is to invest time in the activity; improvement comes gradually over time, whether it's gaming or other skills.

Cheer's Swndlr! I spent a lot of time trying to mimic Eminem when I was younger, but it didn't go well haha! Now I'm staying positive on Kills to Deaths at least! Last week I had 2 kills and 20 deaths lol.

Play more Battlefield 4 to get familiar with the map, vehicles, and roles. A helpful suggestion is to join a group—having friends by your side can make the experience safer and more fun.

Enhance your clip by editing it and choosing to feature either a high-stakes scene from "Scarface" (or GTA Vice City) or the "You're The Best" track from the Karate Kid. This will ensure no one can surpass you in the final product.

I adjusted the scale to 150% and shifted it nearer the center for clearer visibility.

Additionally, reduce your mouse speed. Most players operate at around 800 DPI for run-and-gun modes, recommending 400 DPI for sniping. Opt for a mouse with adjustable DPI and a shift key that toggles on demand. I prefer 800 DPI for my soldier and 1550 DPI in vehicles. Your aim assistance is disabled now—try aiming through your hip sights before lowering your sight. Adjust your DPI so a smooth wrist movement (about 6-8 inches) equals a precise 180° turn. You’ve already seen how much quicker your soldier responds with a mouse versus a controller, and how much simpler it becomes to hit targets. Remember this: although a mouse feels easier for you, it’s 100 times more forgiving for veterans. You’ll feel frustrated sometimes, but it will improve. Don’t panic over a temporary 0.2 KDR. Just keep playing until your skills sharpen, then reset and start over. I update my stats daily because experimenting with new setups in every match is essential—and getting killed often hurts more than winning. As for my setup, I have a different soldier for aggressive play and another for learning tricks, which often leads to losses. Here’s how I use my mini map: it’s scaled up by 150% with a 50-meter range; I focus on the nearby threat rather than distant objects.

And for clarity...I dislike snipers and think they don’t really help teamwork. I’m more about personal KDR gains. Still, it’s cool you’re targeting enemy snipers. That’s the only solid reason I’d play as a sniper. Nice effort! It looks like you understand the game well—just watched the video because, as I mentioned, I don’t enjoy snipers. Lol. A quick tip: if you’re shooting from an open spot like a hill or tower, bring down some TUGS! Otherwise, you’ll end up getting featured in a Russkhof video. Lol...

I dislike when folks criticize "campers." A true soldier won’t stumble into a real fight like he has many chances. A sniper won’t act like a chicken with its head off. Those who grumble are just kids. If you can’t handle such incompetent players, it’s your own fault. @ chrislichfield When did you begin? You’re actually quite capable. Now you just need to keep maps handy, work on teamwork (avoid fights alone and always assist others), and keep practicing. There are also beginner servers, but I’d advise against them. Highly skilled players often dominate them for easy wins, so look for less crowded spots to hone your skills.
