Haha...I don't even enjoy playing Metro or Lockers. They're just tough games, and I'm not good at them.

I haven't played much recon, it's my least used class, but I can share some general advice. 1. Nobody mentioned changing your hit marker colors much, which has really helped me. I stick to blue for regular hits, purple for headshots, and red for kills. This visual difference makes a big difference. 2. As a recon, sticking with one sniper rifle works best. I used the srr-61, but pick whatever feels right and learn how far to position yourself to outrun opponents. The thrill of landing a headshot on a moving target is rewarding. 3. SPOT, SPOT, SPOT. This is super useful for those who are farther away or on rooftops, especially since many rely on the mini map in bf4. 4. The recon role offers the most flexibility. Feel free to use C4 when tanks are causing trouble or place a beacon closer than usual to aid objective pushes. 5. This might seem simple, but enjoy the game. For me, I try weapons that aren't always practical, like the pdw-r, as well as the as-val and l-85. If long-range sniping excites you, go for it—after all, fun matters. Edit: forgot about symthic, check it out; they cover most weapon details except spread for the shotgun. The two key stats for snipers are damage and bullet speed.

Pick a long-range sniper with a precision scope and a medium-range sniper with a compact, reliable design. Stick to your favorites from Xbox play, but don’t forget to share your video. Using a range finder might get you caught if others notice.

Check if servers enforce ping restrictions and whether higher ping values are permitted.
