It will specifically slow down under AVX tasks because they consume more power than usual activities like gaming. There should be an AVX setting in the BIOS to manage this, but games should run smoothly at 5GHz. You probably don’t need it when hitting 5GHz for AVX jobs.
I believe the sensor isn't suitable. It's way too cool compared to a 9900k (stock) in a Hero VRM. VRM handles power delivery, not VRAM which the GPU uses for memory. If you remove this entirely, the issue might be resolved. Buggy software is common even with Asus MCE, but it could help with AVX offsets being zero.
The game isn't reaching 5.0 GHz even though I don't adjust the boost settings for all cores manually. It remains at 4.7 GHz.
Maybe not, but all temperature readings from the MBU shows no indication of concern. Even when I touched the motherboard and it didn’t get hot at all. I understand. My mind is working hard to figure this out. I’m testing various programs besides ASUS One. Will it affect thermal performance? How do you adjust the AVX offset?
Heat is extremely intense at those stages. They’re totally ruined if any part feels warm for the Formula. That’s why I advised you to remove the heatblock first, then check if it runs smoothly at 5GHz across all cores. Not perfect, but it’s an alternative in the BIOS settings.
