Previous findings indicate that at least two hours of Prime95 testing provides the most reliable results for CPU and memory stability. OCCT performs well but isn't as effective in practice.

If his SSD is much quicker and he’s open to replacing them, it would be preferable to perform a clean install and swap or use secure erase before switching.
