I use MS Publisher 2002 for my Autistic son
After setting up Windows 11, the system crashes frequently.
I've completed the standard compatibility tests but haven't found a solution.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Why the upgrade? You don't have to maintain the old machine or OS.
I looked online and think it won't work there.
You might run it in an old OS emulator or try Linux with Wine.

For Windows VM, you'll still need a license for the OS.
Alternatively, consider learning a free option like Scribus – Browse /scribus at SourceForge.net
It's a strong desktop publishing tool.
Have you attempted to force compatibility with a previous operating system version? I don't typically rely on the troubleshooter.
I have attempted to clarify the situation and addressed concerns about compatibility, but I remain unaware of any suitable alternatives. I haven’t found a better option yet, and I’m unsure why someone would choose this outdated software. It seems unclear why your son would be interested in it, especially given the context.
The quote specifies that it functions only on a 32-bit operating system. This implies it won't work with Windows 11!
A software that has been around for over 20 years and runs on a modern system often comes with mixed results. You have to choose between abandoning it or opting for something more suitable for today.
