This version of Skyrim is among the most demanding games to run at full capacity. With all the mods and graphics enhancements, it can really test your system's limits. @ kipper for Skyrim with no extra graphics that looks great—I wonder how much RAM it consumes. My setup uses 3810 on 1080p and between 4060 to 4320 at 1440p when using gpu-z.

Try adjusting your mod setup, as many require d3d9.dll. I can't locate the file for you, but you might explore alternative methods to install Skyrim on your 970. Let me know if you'd like help with that!

For Skyrim it's always too much. I'll keep tweaking it until it breaks. The 290x should handle it unless you're that kind of fan.

To obtain the main EnB client, you need to download it directly from the source. You cannot install just an EnB file from the Nexus.

Absolutely, you need to get the newest file from the reators site right away—here’s the link I provided. It’s a bit frustrating, though. The artist tends to be quite cautious about who accesses his creations.
