The situation is unusual, but possible if you have the right setup. Using a valid Vista Business key and DVD with a Windows Vb install might work, though compatibility isn't guaranteed. It could be a bit of a surprise if someone expected dual CPU support.
If you're looking for a dual CPU setup, it's acceptable. Vista had some strengths, though limited, so this system isn't a major issue—generally... I'd have crushed you with that 100FT USB 3.0 cable around your neck, as Linus and Slack would say.
We both thought it mainly stemmed from HDD speed problems. The UI felt inconsistent, and I can resolve both issues. (SSD is installed and I've customized the Vista skins before). Also, you can run DX11 on it.
I'm a big fan of SOE and have had trouble running PS2 or DP in WINE.
Linux targets a particular group of users. I strongly dislike it because I find the shell terminal frustrating, and I can't get past that part.
I enjoy Linux, though my 4-5 games and apps are slowing me down. Planetside 2 Dragon's Prophet FireFall Paint.NET (despite my love for GIMP, some tools work better in Paint.NET) and a few others.
I really like Vista too (Terrytek seems to agree), so I'm in favor of this.
