You're just beginning your PC build and feeling overwhelmed. The VGA light was working, but the RGB fans didn't spin—only case fans, CPU cooler, and GPU fans did. Your monitor didn’t display anything either. After updating the BIOS on your motherboard, the problem persisted. You tried resetting CMOS and redoing the update, but nothing changed. Each step feels like a new challenge. You're weighing whether to return everything or start over.

The board appears to function properly, but there might be an issue with a connection somewhere. Do you still see the debug light? Which one is active?

Yes, the display cables were attached to the GPU instead of the motherboard.

Just about to ask the same question again. On another occasion, the board disliked the RAM, but displayed a VGA light indicating no video due to RAM interfering with the GPU. Switched to a different GPU worked out. I faced a similar problem later with another build. It could be useful to check if your RAM model appears on the board's QVL list for Vermeer Ryzen. Maybe there are some drivers involved.

Connect the power cables to the GPU. I’d reinsert all components, focusing on RAM and CPU, and attempt the setup once more.
