I have CL16 RAM but CPU-Z displays only 18 clocks instead of the expected 16.

The system lists CL18 instead of the expected CL16 for your Patriot Viper Steel 16GB RAM. Check the hardware configuration and ensure it matches the actual components installed.
Memory section displays the current operations being executed. Spd section presents profiles, includes a screenshot from that tab.
Your RAM is using the XMP-3602 profile, which is set to CL 18. I'm not sure how you obtained CL 16, but it's functioning properly.
all the 3600 are cl 18

It's accurate that my XMP profile lists 3602 and CL18, yet I need a method to adjust it since my RAM is CL16.
Mine is 3200MHz and CL16.. PVS416G320C6

3600MHz isn't 3200MHz. It's confusing. Cpuz is honest, and you can't alter what it shows clearly.
