I just got a new 144 Hz monitor, the AOC AGON AG271QX 27". I played some games like Titanfall 2 and Doom 2016 but they all ran at 60 fps. I adjusted the refresh rate in the Nvidea control panel to 144, but the games still didn't reach 144 fps. What options do I have?

Check the current status of VSync and the in-game FPS limiter to determine if it is ON or OFF.

Adjust your refresh rate to 144 in the Windows 10 display settings (as indicated below).
If you've already done this, capture a screenshot comparing VSync in both global settings and the Doom.exe configuration in the nvidia CP (as shown below).
I don't own Titanfall 2, so I can't share that screenshot. If step 1 resolves your problem, the screenshots aren't required.

I possess two monitors, one measuring 2560 by 1440 at 144Hz and another at 3840 by 2160 at 60Hz.
