I experience a loss of Ethernet link while streaming with OBS-NDI.
I reinitialized the Windows network configuration to try again. Removed OBS and rebuilt everything from the beginning. The notebook stopped connecting to the network completely, not just the internet. It’s been 15 minutes now, and it still hasn’t resolved. This is strange—I haven’t made any changes since the last issue.
And this clearly shows how external speeds affect performance. As I mentioned before, each ISP can experience differences in speed delivery. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times not at all. Let's illustrate with a scenario. I have two computers: one for gaming and another for streaming. Both have a 5Mbps upload connection. If I stream at 4Mbps while my ISP fluctuates its speeds (which is normal), my upload could drop to just 3Mbps. This might cause all my devices to lose connectivity. The only solution is to pause the activities that heavily use the network, unless the software stops functioning.
Actually that's wrong. But if you think so, i'm sure someone else have a "solution" for you.
