I experience a loss of Ethernet link while streaming with OBS-NDI.
Additionally, keep in mind... the AP doesn't fix ping problems; it might even worsen them since the link now passes through two devices instead of just one.
On my end, I'm using a DELL XPS 8900 with a 6th Gen Intel Core i7 6700, GPU 1060 3GB, 32GB RAM, an Avermedia capture card, and a TP-Link AC1200 internet connection offering 500 Mbps download / 100 Mbps upload (ISP: UNIFI Malaysia). All devices connect via Cat 6 cable. My main gaming console is a PS4, while the PC handles streaming. I have another D-link router for the rest of the house. Streaming at 6000 bitrate with 1280 60p consistently drops after about 15 minutes. I've tried everything possible to fix this issue. Could you assist?
You need to verify if both routers might cause IP conflicts, such as devices receiving identical IP addresses. This could be a serious issue. Additionally, consider increasing your stream quality to 1080p at 30 or 60 frames per second instead of streaming at 1280 with a 6000 bitrate.
I'm working with this rate for roughly a year already. I just tested it today using a 4000 rate on my main PC without any issues. The only problem was with the notebook—it loses connection when I press the start streaming button. If the connection drops, you might see ping, delay, or slow performance, but not complete loss for just one device.
The problem isn't linked to my external speed. There seems to be an issue with the internal components. They have sufficient bandwidth for operation. I've reviewed everything. When I removed the phone from the AP and tried again, no downloads or uploads occurred during testing. Interestingly, my latest test is still running. It's been about 10 minutes with no disconnection.
