What protection software do you rely on? I'm curious since a friend hasn't installed any antivirus yet, especially after building his system. I'm currently using AVG, which will be upgraded soon. I'm considering skipping it but will decide later.

I rely mostly on MalwareBytes and basic judgment, plus I regularly back up the entire C: drive every three days. If a virus occurs, simply reverting my system keeps me safe—provided you stay cautious and avoid suspicious links.
