I don't play Fallout 4.
I recently assembled my new machine and it should handle most recent titles smoothly. I saved my graphics drivers and other files, but Fallout 4 and NVIDIA GeForce Experience both indicate I can't meet the basic requirements. Required Specs: OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit needed) Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or similar RAM: 8 GB Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or similar Storage: 30 GB free space My setup: OS: Windows 10 64-bit Processor: AMD X4 860k 3.7GHz RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti 2GB I don’t understand why it says I can’t run it, while sites like http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyr...12905/?p=a suggest otherwise. I truly value your assistance.
Run refers to the act of playing or operating the game. For this title, it would likely run smoothly on a 750ti with Med-High settings at around 60 frames per second in 1080p resolution. The graphics performance is expected to be average, and the processor might not be very strong.
Fallout 4 behaves oddly; its frame rate seems tied straight to the amount of objects present. That means higher numbers give better performance, not less. You might notice smooth gameplay at 60 fps with reasonable settings, but inside certain areas—especially the starting house and vault—even basic settings struggle to hit that number or feel like it. Don’t be misled into thinking you can handle it; this is my message.
This performance is poor, especially at lower configurations, with around 15-20 FPS.
I tested it myself, strolling through the sanctuary. It maintained 15-20 frames per second on reduced settings. My ASUS ROG G750JW notebook handled the game perfectly with a modded med and 765m graphics.
I've noticed this CPU is praised for its excellent value in the budget category.
