MSI afterburner is set to +45 core clock. No other adjustments were made since I’m frustrated and have a weak power supply, so I don’t want the system to fail.

If the central frequency is performing as expected and efficiency is near 100%, it's hard to say what might be happening...

A subpar PSU might cause issues, but poor performance usually isn’t the main issue. As long as it delivers enough power, the device will operate normally. If it fails to provide sufficient voltage, the system would likely crash or display a BSOD, similar to running a CPU overclock without enough power.
