I didn't update the app because I'm a bit anxious; I just wish foxfi was working properly and not Verizon trying to catch people using the app. My phone hasn't received any Google Play updates for foxfi lately, which is confusing. For those who blame yourself if it doesn't work, I get it—it breaks TOC. Still, I've been a Verizon customer for over ten years. Remember when they gave free software for USB tethering with old flip phones back in the early 2000s?
I believe you're right about it being a foxfi issue. Without an update, it's hard to say what they could have done.
