I’ve applied identical window configurations and decided to perform a clean install on the SSD since I need my previous hard drive for another computer.
I haven’t attempted relocating the M.2 slot yet; it’s currently my only remaining choice.

If moving the SSD enhances performance, please send an email to your motherboard manufacturer with drive information and BIOS update details, GPU specs, and full system specifications. This should assist them in improving BIOS support in upcoming updates.

Moving the SSD depends on the motherboard chipset rather than the CPU. We'll find out if this affects the outcome.

The P3 PLUS SSD isn't the most dependable, and many have problems or fail. I'd rather focus on the drive itself. My son had one in his RYZEN system and experienced poor freezes while gaming. After swapping it for a 980 pro, there are no more issues.
