I’m looking for advice on video recording settings and setup tips from users who regularly use it. I’d appreciate practical guidance rather than just general tutorials. Additionally, I need help changing the video save location to the C drive with a specific prefix.

I believe you located it, thank you. The file doesn’t include audio, so everything is processed with Audacity. To combine the clips, you’ll need to export them separately and then merge them in your preferred software. MS won’t allow you to use Movie Maker directly.
In the audio section you have options, though I favor Audacity. You might use Premiere Pro to merge them; please share the audio and video files, and I can help you split them once you're ready.
I recommend adjusting the settings to create .mp4 files. The standard option won’t suit your Mac.
