Someone on a different community faced problems where their X58 setup didn't connect properly with their latest RX 5700XT graphics card.

For PC3 there are two GPUs connected to the motherboard, yet the PCIe power cable for the NVIDIA GT 230 isn't attached. This might lead to problems such as freezing or slow performance. The ATI Radeon 4770 offers different performance characteristics compared to the NVIDIA GT 230.

These appear to be older models, around 13-20 years old. Think about the X58 and early i7s released in late 2008—Core 2 Quad is among the latest CPUs available then. I suspect it's not the newest Core 2 Quad yet, possibly from around 2007, which is about 13 years ago. A GT 1030 might even be too recent for that era.

No need for two GPUs. Remove the 230.

The ATI Radeon 4770 offers advantages over the GT 230. You’re looking at its original packaging, which might be useful for storage.

Anything works better than a 230 version right now. It's fine for watching videos or folding, but it lacks VP9 support and won’t fold well. Just keep it and sell it low.

It's better. Just move it to another rig. No box needed for storage.
