They might find your behavior strange because it seems out of place. Maybe they didn’t experience a similar dream before. It could just be your mind playing tricks on you—you were likely half-asleep while dreaming. Those kinds of dreams are already unsettling on their own, so it’s not surprising they think you’re crazy.

Many people are repeating the same idea here. This game is rated M because it's meant for mature audiences. If you're young and unfamiliar with scary content, that's fine. There are plenty of games suited for younger minds. Every night we dream while we sleep, but we often forget them. Nightmares are frightening regardless of what others say. If they weren't real, they'd just be dreams. Still, if this game is causing you distress and keeping you up, stop playing it. You shouldn't be doing it, and your parents should understand better.

Research shows nightmares stem from anxiety rather than pure fear, using real-world fears to trigger subconscious reactions. If these dreams are unsettling, consider confronting a significant personal fear—like heights or spiders—and temporarily pause from the situation.

Would you like me to confirm Maria's age? She seems to be experiencing anxiety, but it might help to explain why she's worried about the game and having nightmares. Alternatively, you could simply state it's fear to make things easier.

Are we simply allowing kids to play games designed for adults? This wasn't the goal of this discussion. It was meant to assist a young girl dealing with nightmares from playing a game.
