The 1050 likely doesn't require a power adapter, many don't even need one, and even my 1050Ti gets its power from the PCIe port, so the wattage isn't the problem. Consider using a second PCIe slot to test compatibility.

I found this 430W PSU in a museum setting, not for personal use. You're looking for a strong 750W power supply from reputable brands such as Corsair, EVGA, Thermaltake, or Antec.

this psu really lacks power you should definitely opt for a solid 500w minimum for this card. i’d strongly suggest going with tier a or b instead of sticking with what you have now. most people agree a quality 500w unit is essential for this gpu, and your current one isn’t safe to use anymore.
