It's nice to explore, but playing the game isn't very enjoyable. I hope more titles with VR options will be released in the future.

Yeah, like others have said, using the Rift as a 3D display with no motion tracking is a bad idea. It's the same reason you sometimes get a headache when watching movies at the theater in 3D. In the real world, when your head moves (even a very small amount) your brain is doing all kinds of depth calculations to correctly interpret the position of what you are looking at. In the virtual world, your head needs to be able to do the same thing. There is a word for it and it is well known in the industry - I just can't think of it at the moment. There are programs that let you play any FPS type game with some head tracking. Basically you can still use keyboard and mouse but head tracking also works. I'm not sure how well they work. For myself, I was really hyped about VR. I recently cancelled my Rift pre-order mostly because I want room scale VR, but also I feel like the games are still just expensive tech demos. I REALLY want VR to succeed but I just can't justify the money right now.

I had the DK2 for a bit a few months after it come out. I sold it a while ago because I wasn't using it. Right now I'm holding off VR (both out of choice and lack of funds) until they've progressed more.

Even if you dont have motion tracking, you defiantly want head tracking or you will instantly get simulator sickness I would happily have controller based games with head tracking sitting in a chair it will happen, its VERY early for VR

I didn't expect much but I really liked it. As an Aussie, the prices here are much higher, so I have to wait until I can afford one. Maybe I'll get the mobile version for now, though it won't be as good as what I've tried (Oculus Rift).
