I ran a test and tried to boot the GV-R583UD-1GD without connecting power. I received beeps but didn<|pad|> to fail to boot. It might mean insufficient power reaching the card or a faulty adapter cable. This model doesn’t require adapters—it’s designed for direct use with a 6-pin connection. The 3070ti uses dual 8-pin connectors.

It was power! I moved to different slot and reset some BIOS settings. But the key was using the second PSU in tandem plugging into the 4th 6 pin plug. Now to figure out making it boot... I had to move my NVME ssd thats in a PCI slot. edit: Which this is also a problem... a 1300W power supply isn't enough for a dual cpu system with a 3070.... I need to try and convince my boss a regular AMD system with 32gb of ram and a 3070 is better for my job than this beast.

The HP website suggested changing the card to something else.

It's interesting, I'm using an RTX A4500 in my z840 without any problems—it performs quite well. The graphics card has an 8-pin connector, but I'm connecting it with a single 6-pin to 8-pin adapter.

Wiring connects ground and green signal together for synchronized activation. It features a dual six-to-eight pin adapter. One six pin connects externally to the PSU, the other internally. The second six pin also links to the internal PSU. This setup is likely for a 3070 TI model, possibly a refurbished PC. The power delivery might be less efficient than advertised, or the power routing could be suboptimal. It includes dual CPUs.
