How to install clean windows on my HDD using another's CPU

My pc encountered a strange virus that consumes C drive space, and I considered installing Windows to fix the issue. However, my DVD drive stopped working. It's an old machine with the DVD drive unused for a long time. I can't download the Windows installer because of limited space on the C drive. If I transfer my HDD to a friend's system—using a different setup—I wonder if it would run smoothly, even though I have an i7 6th gen processor, a Gigabyte motherboard, and my friend uses either AMD or Intel CPUs with different motherboards? Please share your insights based on real experiences.

Probably not.
Windows isn't designed in such a modular way.
The more distinct the differences between systems, the lower the chances of compatibility.
How could your friend make a Win 10 USB for you?

The "virus" seems to be related to System Restore, pagefile.sys and hiberfile.sys.
Turn off system restore.
Disable hibernation.
Remove large user files such as videos and music.
Clear temporary files from downloads and the recycle bin.
Use windirstat to identify space usage on your drive.
Run it with administrative privileges.
WinDirStat provides Windows directory statistics.

I wouldn't open my HDD, I'd just boot from the DVD in his gig and wipe out the old partitions, then install fresh Windows. I'm curious, does this work on your OC?

Nah bro, I looked into all those things. It was a kms (key management service) I used before to activate Windows and other MS software like Office for free. It had spyware inside, but even after uninstalling it, it managed to get through...
