Hi there
I just purchased the Asus ROG GL752VW-T4130T. I wanted to check if it can exceed 2.59 GHz. The description mentions 3.5 GHz for the Intel Core i7-6700HQ. Also, if it's running at 3.5 GHz right now, is that what it was originally set to? I'm working on apps and sometimes it takes a minute or two to build, which is really frustrating.
Another point: can the GPU power be utilized for other applications?
Looking forward to your help
/Erik

Don't even consider boosting a laptop's speed. The heat it generates will be very bothersome to feel on your lap or desk.

Actually, I reside in an RV car in Sweden, so the warmth is appreciated because it's near zero degrees outside soon. What about your question?

Well, i can only recommend using the bios for overclocking.
Your computer is only operating at 3GHz because it isn't under full load. The CPU is built to lower its speed when necessary, so it doesn't get excessively hot all the time.
Are you traveling in an RV, or are you just in your parents' driveway or somewhere else?

Thanks, but how can I check the maximum clock speed the laptop is configured to use, such as 2.59 GHz or 3.5 GHz? I reside and work in Sweden and, because there are no available apartments, I’m compelled to live in an RV. Is there a similar app for Windows 10 like that deprecated tool: http://addgadgets.com/all_cpu_meter/

I regularly rely on HWMonitor to monitor CPU usage and temperatures, as well as to observe system performance. Please wait while I determine the processor's frequency patterns.

Clockfrekvens: 2.6 GHz
How fast your CPU operates depends on the frequency it's using.

The default speed is 2.6. The question asks about an ASUS software for extreme performance with one click, specifically related to an ASUS TurboV and AI Suite on a Windows 10 laptop.

Yes, the standard frequency is 2.6GHz
It seems you can change settings in BIOS, such as Default or Gaming modes.
