They joined Fortnite for various reasons. Do you believe they'll return? Fortnite likely attracted a bigger audience than PUBG did. Even if PUBG was free-to-play, most Fortnite players wouldn't be able to compete because of technical limits. I'm not pushing to keep PUBG as a P2P model, just questioning the shift to free-to-play. Ideally, everything should be accessible, but that's not happening. Making it F2P would push developers to earn elsewhere, and I worry it could backfire on us all. It's natural to want to protect your income, but forcing changes can have unintended consequences.
