Adding another third anti-cheat solution would be beneficial. Going fully free to play could help, but they’d need to create many additional modes to maintain the experience. FTP demands ongoing player turnover. Adjust the server speed to 60 hz.

PUBG Corp might begin by avoiding absurd lawsuits, particularly against Epic Games. They once led the charge, but then Epic surpassed them in the Battle Royale arena and Bluehole entered the scene, leaving PUBG struggling. Developer actions, especially from Brendan Greene, displayed a childish attitude, and the ongoing lack of support paints PUBG poorly. Insisting on region locks to restrict Chinese players isn’t just a minor tweak—it’s essential for survival. The repeated bans on streamers for "stream sniping" reveal a troubling perspective from Greene. Overall, the game seems chaotic and unlikely to be worth saving unless significant changes occur soon.

From a business standpoint, implementing FTP wouldn't be financially viable in the near future. The current situation with the Fortnite cat is clear.

Discussing PUBG FTP earnings raises questions about its financial viability. Reports suggest significant revenue streams, with millions generated monthly across platforms. Analyzing sources highlights the ongoing interest from investors and players alike. Understanding the profit model remains key to assessing its sustainability.

Avoid targeting everyone who adopts the battle royale idea. Improve your game and resolve issues to capture your own dedicated audience, as casual players tend to move away.

No, PUBG already has sufficient cheaters. Introducing FTP would only exacerbate the issue. Regarding loot boxes, they should be removed. Even if PUBG were free to play, its player base would likely be smaller compared to Fortnite due to its more intense nature and less family-friendly image. Performance isn't the main concern, but network code/hit registration issues are significant. They're frustrating, causing desync and lag in many games. This shouldn't be acceptable. Extended testing before updates is standard practice, as most changes are rolled out after less than 24 hours of testing. Hmm, do you actually play PUBG? Since both these aspects are present... (and replays) Yes, the kill cam requires improvement, as it often misrepresents accuracy. New maps? Balance patches? Map updates? The monetization model is questionable. People have invested more in Fortnite skins than PUBG skins, despite liking the latter. Why? Because spending real money demands transparency—clear rewards are expected. They should replace loot boxes with a Battle Pass or in-game store. A progression system could also motivate more engagement. P.S.: Calling a game with millions of sales and daily players a failure is just silly.

It's similar to what you see in Fortnite... What other options exist? Charging for a 360-degree view with a 150-meter radius? Why would PUBG be worth playing when you can keep it free to play? Those performance problems are real. The R3 2200g runs smoothly at over 30fps in Crisis 3 at 1080p, but it struggles with PUBG lobbies to keep up. You're not alone in this issue – many players have shared similar experiences. The killcam footage from the last time I played doesn’t show any hackers, and Blizzard seems indifferent. It’s been a while since I’ve played PUBG, and the constant complaints about performance have made it feel like a waste of time. If you’re getting frustrated and talking about it, you’re on the wrong side of the fence. PUBG isn’t a great game because the users are the ones complaining and leaving. Check out recent reviews to see what others think about playtime and quality. If a game makes money from your frustration, it’s probably not worth your time.

Hmm, you're right to question this. Fortnite didn't have a big cheater issue... What would it actually do? It would make more cheaters, not fewer. It wouldn't boost PUBG Corp's earnings. You mentioned the PC version, not the Xbox one, so I assume you're talking about Steam. So? Crysis 3 was manageable in 2018... With maximum settings it could run, but not perfectly. I know that, but my friend can play PUBG on a GTX 1050 and a G4560. So it's been quite some time since you played PUBG, yet you're complaining about performance and patch issues. Can you be sure? After all, cheats are usually easy to spot. If someone is hacking you, it's pretty obvious. Sure, this is why Steam is the most popular platform right now—it's because the experience is so poor and many players are leaving.

I didn't say that. I meant to point out that Fortnite is FTP and PUBP is PTP. Being a PTP game people are more frustrated with hackers in PUBG than in a FTP game like fortnite where the player base keeps growing. How it would help. PUBG already has thousands of hackers, that's a problem they have to fix FTP or PTP - I believe what you are saying is "the general player base will increase therefore the hackers will increase" Going FTP wouldn't make money? Please see Fortnite - Going FTP would mean they would have to change the dynamic of their in game shops as many PTPMMOs did in the past after became FTPMMOs (its funny for a ptp game their in game shop is set up like ftp game) Just the hackers right?... I was referring to those are performance issues well with the xbox one... they need to fix that too! you honestly believe pugb should be running worse than crysis 3? How come every other esport title run like butter? See Overwatch to CSGO to Rocket League to Fortnite point gotten. I was reffering to the xbox one and android players when i said you're not the only one playing pubg (the expand to other platforms before mastering one) I'm not complaining. I'm trying to help PUBG's falling numbers and the players are the ones who are complaining that that it runs poorly and their patches don't work... including you Did adding maps and balancing guns help with V ^ ask https://store.steampowered.com/app/57808...views_hash obvious to the players but not to PUBG corp ask https://store.steampowered.com/app/57808...views_hash You can't deny PUBG's player base is falling consistently. You can't deny that there is a reason for that... i wonder what it is. Look nothing is perfect not even Fornite. Please don't think I'm trying to bash PUBG, the reason I made this post was to gather ideas that could make PUBG better. I like PUBG that's why i want it to improve. The points i bring up are things that would make the game better for me personally. Some people content with the current status of pubg while others are refunding it after their first hacker encounter 45 minutes in. I wan't to ask you what do you think PUBG could do to return as number 1 Battle Royale?

Only thousands? Considering how ineffective their anti-cheat is, the cheating problem would become 10x worse, since right now if you're thinking about cheating there's a bit of a risk factor involved, since you pay $30 for the game. If it was free to play, you can just make a new account and be good to go. This isn't a problem with Fortnite, since: Their anti cheat actually works They sue cheaters, so people don't cheat. Well, would it? I doubt that enough players would spend money on loot crates, unless they completely redesign their monetization system. I mean, Crysis 3 was released in 2013. It makes sense that a 2017 game is going to be harder to run.... And I don't consider PUBG an e-sport TBH. Sure, optimization could be better, but it's honestly not as bad as it used to be ~6 months ago. Most of those issues could be resolved if they kept the updates on the test servers for more than 24h. Also, why not post your ideas here?: https://forums.playbattlegrounds.com I'm pretty sure that the PUBG Community would not agree with your suggestions, but anyways. No, but it proves that they do care about the game. But yeah, I agree that they should prioritize performance and netcode instead of new content, since the amount of desync and lag in this game is insane. It is, but it's still the most played game on Steam, if PUBG was that bad, this would not be the case. BF4's player base has shrinked considerably, but BF4 is still an amazing game. As new games come out, it makes sense that a lot of players will move on to other games. No. Fortnite is the number one Battle Royale game because of its accessibility. It's so simple that even a 6 year old could play it and still have fun. The same can't be said for PUBG. I'm not saying Fortnite takes no skill to play, but it's MUCH more noob friendly than PUBG.
