Whatever method you use is fine. Start with the button before trying anything else if it works, then move on.

If the button fails, consider these steps based on how corrupted your BIOS is:
1. Swap the jumper (if your motherboard has one) from pins 1 & 2 to 2 & 3.
2. Remove the battery for 5 to 10 minutes.
For more stubborn BIOS issues, try additional approaches:
