How much can I spend and what do I buy that?
I am looking for a better computer because I have $800 to spend on it. My current setup needs some upgrades. Here is the list of parts I have right now: my motherboard is an H610, my processor is an i5-13400 that runs at 2.5GHz, and I have a graphics card called RTX 3070 in my case. My memory sticks are Kingston with 16GB of RAM, and I use a solid-state drive from Kingston named SNVS 1000g for storage. I also have a power supply unit that is a 600W X-POWER brand thing, and I am using an Asus monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz running on Windows version 22631.4169.
I will upgrade my computer's main part. At Newegg, they have a custom PC builder tool that lists parts and what comes in the package. The list includes the processor (CPU), motherboard, memory (RAM), cooler for the processor, an M.2 2TB SSD storage drive, power supply unit, and one big note says that the recommended RAM is included when you buy the chosen CPU.
Do you have any trouble right now? Why would you want to get something new? Maybe if it is for playing games, swapping out the graphics card will help the most. How high are you getting your pictures in resolution?
Or Alternatively, An 8 core CPU and Twice the amount of RAM, without the SSD Parts List on newegg Compared to the i5-13400, the difference of either CPU is only slightly better in multi-core performance, application depending. The single core performance advantage is significant, however. An X3D option would be better, but overall AM5 is likely going to provide greater future upgrade opportunity. If you don't like buying used parts or spending more money for a GPU, you can't get a super fast card that's cheaper than your 3070. If you're playing games at 1080p or 1440p resolution, using a faster CPU would be the smarter choice in this case anyway.
