I waited in line for about 1.5 hours hoping Memory Express would open, but I didn’t get the 5900x. It would’ve been easy to get a 5800x if I’d arrived sooner, but unfortunately I only left with the motherboard and no CPU. I was among the first to preorder, probably around the 17th or 18th person, so maybe in a week or two I’ll finally have my device.
They had a queue and no processors at Microcenter when I arrived. It seems they received a delivery after I left... I expect to receive one soon, which should be more readily available than the 3080 model, and I already got one from Microcenter three weeks ago.
Never verified the buyer. Received one from a scan and another from CCL (payment processing took too long, which is why I ended up with two). Overclockers UK had these in stock for a long time. If you know someone looking for a 5800X, suggest them as I’m trying to get my money back.
I faced problems with overclockers. It was possible to add it to the list but I couldn't finish the process. The scan worked for me; the site was slow, yet I received email confirmations quickly, ahead of the website's response. I thought the traffic must be overwhelming.
The evaluator didn’t follow a standardized testing setup, or possibly misrepresented their findings. The 5600X outperforms the 10900K when it comes to gaming performance.
