How about AMD and MSI?
Is there a problem with AMD CPUs and MSI motherboards? More specifically, when using the AMD R7 9800X3D together with the MSI X670E Gaming Plus WiFi, does this cause issues? The issue is that when I enter "Safe Mode" and restart, the computer won't turn on again. I have to take out the battery and reset it just so it comes back online, which then means I still need to reinstall Windows. This happens too if I try to update the BIOS. Thanks for your help.
Are there problems with AMD CPUs and MSI motherboards? No, that problem isn't on Asus, MSI, or Gigabyte boards. It is actually specific to ASRock boards. When I turn it off and back on into Safe Mode, the computer refuses to start up again. To help people solve this, please list all your parts like this: CPU: CPU cooler: Motherboard: Ram: SSD/HDD: GPU: PSU: Chassis: OS: Monitor: Also tell me how old your power supply is besides making and model number. Tell me the BIOS version on your motherboard right now too. The reason is that when I boot into Safe Mode and restart, it won't come up so I have to take out the battery and reset it just for the machine to turn back on online. Did you recycle an old hard drive? Where did you get your Windows installer from? If I want to update the BIOS, does the same problem happen? How are you trying to update the BIOS on your motherboard right now? Just by the way, you need to flash the BIOS to a newer version before you can use your 9800X3D.
