I have an Intel i5 2400 with 8 GB RAM. I attempted to install a new RAM module but couldn’t boot. The modules I used are the same GSKILL Ripsaw DDR3 1333 1.5V chips. I’ve tried them in slot 1 and worked, but mixing one in slot 1 and one in slot 2 doesn’t let the PC start. I’ve adjusted settings without success.

Have you checked if it works just on the second track?

I've already checked slot 2, it won't start up.

The motherboard slot is probably no longer functioning, so it’s time to replace it.

It should function as a fresh update.

but it didn't? It seems like your motherboard, RAM module, or CPU might be the issue here. Your RAM modules look fine, and CPUs usually don’t get damaged, so the problem is probably the motherboard. You could try resetting its CMOS, but I’m not sure it will help.
