You're checking how your CPU handles voltage monitoring. Consider using HWiNFO to check the VCore readings. I set up a 10600K on a similar Asus board and successfully adjusted the voltage without issues. If you pushed too low, errors would appear. For SVID behavior, I used the best-case scenario with a negative offset. It seems your board might be reporting VID instead of actual CPU voltage—could be an offset issue. What offset value did you test? What is your load line LLC setting?

I've been using HWMonitorPro. I'm curious if a mini-ITX board would struggle with higher voltages, or if it's more about the regulators. In HWmonitor, is VID voltage the right value to check? Should I look at the LLC level 4/7 instead?

Searching online brought up old forum discussions suggesting the issue might be related to the motherboard not supporting vcore monitoring. It seems that if VID numbers appear in place of vcore, that could explain the problem. Since the core voltage matches VID when using XTU, it's possible this is the cause. If this is true, you can still monitor voltage by checking the BIOS settings or using a separate voltmeter.

Just found it! I didn’t think it would be under the motherboard. Appreciate the assistance—I’m a bit embarrassed but relieved it wasn’t a big problem.

What is your VCore voltage? You might reduce it to 1.30V and maintain stable performance of all cores at 4.8 GHz. Lower temperatures are possible without overvoltage.

I’m using a 10600K running at 4.8GHz across all cores with voltages near 1.27 to 1.29 under load. The Gigabyte Vision G Z490 board has been working fine with BIOS overclocking, though I prefer XTU for its simplicity. At 4.9GHz all cores I see around 1.34V under load, and at 5GHz it climbs to about 1.41–1.44V—quite high for such a chipset. It seems the silicon might be underperforming.
