I looked for discussions about competitive Halo but didn't find any threads. Major League Gaming, Pro Gaming League, Ultimate Gaming Championship and others have hosted Halo events. The European Gaming League, Electronic Sports League, and the upcoming Master Chief Collection are also notable. With the Master Chief Collection launching soon and a UGC Halo 2 anniversary tournament underway, the competitive Halo scene seems to be gaining momentum. It looks like MLG might reconsider, or PGL/UGC could start organizing tournaments for Halo. For updates on competitive Halo, check out www.TeamBeyond.net. The elitism felt quite intense on the forums and playlists. It seems games like LoL and Dota share a lot of similarities.

They're not great, but I don't play Moba's and they don't resonate with me. Halo used to be, but the MLG style messed everything up.

Don't stress, you're definitely not the only one. It wasn't easy to locate other MLG supporters who weren't just plain troublemakers.

I'm aware of its presence, but I don't have any desire to purchase it since I wouldn't buy an Xbone for playing it. If it's not available on my PC, I won't own it.

I think it's being released for PC, though I'm not sure. I'm certain Halo 1 will have eight maps available for PC.

They haven’t announced it yet, so I’m assuming it won’t be on PC at this stage.
