High-stakes Halo competition across MLG, PGL, and UGC platforms.
I question the emphasis on PC; they seem more focused on Halo 5 beta and resolving problems.
Competitive Halo truly sparked my passion for comp halo. For me, it remains the top e-Sport and will stay unmatched.
I enjoyed competitive Halo and keep watching people play the MLG playlist on Twitch. You didn't mention EGL as well as ESL, both large tournament groups with global reach (that's what I disliked about MLG). I'll really work hard on the Team Hardcore and Esports playlists from the Master Chief Collection. By the way, I like that Carbon profile picture—Naded would be proud!
2008 to 2010 was the peak—I’d say Halo helped make esports strong in North America. It’s not just about LoL or Dota, though I’m trying to recall more than just MLG, PGL, and UGC. Let’s be real, aside from MLG, those others didn’t really matter much. I’ll fix up my post! Naded would be proud for representing Storm Ventures, not Carbon Ghost, Shock, Karma, or Gandhi <3
You could view some of the videos in the original post. If none catch your interest, I can look for others. Yeah, I’m currently just playing Halo 3 and haven’t played much lately because of school. I’m not sure when I’ll get an Xbone and MCC—I think I’ll wait a couple of weeks to check reviews and see more gameplay.
You weren't aware of the competitive Halo community? It's more than just a rehash of CoD—it was once incredible, packed with skillful players. Let's admit, anything beats CoD.
