Everything appears fine. Are you using a 11700F or an 11700KF? The main display of ThrottleStop should reflect this information. Most motherboards default the PL1 power cap to 65W with a 11700F, while higher models like the 11700KF usually use higher limits. This is favorable. Temperatures and other metrics look normal. The only suggestion is to switch to the Windows High Performance power plan. If it isn’t visible in Windows Power Options, choose that plan on the ThrottleStop interface. I’m not sure this adjustment is responsible for any stuttering you’re experiencing. Once connected, the CPU shouldn’t throttle under light load. You might also try setting IccMax to its maximum value of 255.75 for both core and cache. The log only recorded one EDP throttling event, so it’s unlikely this will resolve your issue.
The main display indicates a 11700F model. I plan to change to the high performance plan, though I didn’t realize that option was available. I may adjust the IccMax setting and see if that resolves the issue. This could mean the problem isn’t CPU-related anymore, or there might still be a chance it’s connected to the processor.
Completed cinebench test. Multi-core score was 13301 points, single-core 1539 points. MP ratio came in at 8.64. On multi-core it placed #4, single-core #1. MP ratio ranking was #7. It’s hard to compare with identical systems, but matching scores on other machines seem reasonable.
Chose to test cinebench once more this morning and received the same result—my CPU appears to be performing adequately. What direction should we take next?
Which game is this? It seems R6 Siege has a problem with older i3/i5 CPUs running at full capacity, causing crashes. Earlier patches addressed the issue, but some versions still had similar problems. Tarkov experienced a similar situation before fixes were applied. It might just be that particular game having trouble.
It appears across many titles—Roblox, Left 4 Dead 2, Project: Zomboid, Death Stranding, Call Of Duty, CS:GO, Metro: Last Light, Fallout 4, Team Fortress 2 and more—I’m almost sure it’s not tied to any specific game. Even games like Half Life 1 seem to share the same experience. What stands out is that main menus, whether real-time or not, don’t show any FPS drops or stutters. Looking at YouTube stats, I saw no frame loss while watching videos in full.
