High-end PC running GTA V at maximum settings but struggling with low frame rates.
I discovered four socialclub UIs but removing the lower three causes them to reappear. I can only eliminate the first one, which consumes the most CPU, but my game reports an issue with signing into socialclub. I’m unsure if this is intentional, though I have OCgenie installed on my motherboard. I monitored all eight cores and noticed that during GTA launch, all cores were at 90-100%, and even in the main menu they stayed around 50-75% usage per core.
It looks like the problem might be with the game itself. I'm using an old I7-GTX980 and recently played GTA at around 60 FPS after Windows 10. I installed the game again yesterday and saw low frame rates—10 to 15 FPS—and tried running it as administrator, but everything failed. I suspect the issue could be related to the game or storage, not my settings. Ran other games and they worked fine. The HDD is only about 50% full, so that doesn’t seem to be the cause.
