Hey there, I believe I'm facing an issue with my GTX 1060.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
We're going to need a little more info. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
CPU: Ryzen 5 1400
CPU cooler: AMD Wraith Stealth
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B450M-A II bios ver. 1168.19.704.2024
Ram: 4 GB DDR4 ADATA 2133 MHz
SSD/HDD: 250 GB SSD Samsung Evo 1 TB HDD
GPU: ASUS Strix GTX 1060 6 GB 128 Bit
PSU: POWER LC6600GP 600W — age uncertain, possibly 6 or 8 years old
Chassis: Unknown
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Monitor: Philips TV
there are also issues with my games, possibly due to the GPU, which is why I noticed the red and white lights.
PSU: POWER LC6600GP 600W, not sure how old it is—could be 6 or 8 years.
Source (borrowed, not purchased) a dependably made PSU from a friend or neighbor that provides 550W for the whole system.
Current usage: running on 4GB RAM in 2024 on a Ryzen processor at 2133MHz.
I've already lent out a PSU to a friend and the issue persists, especially with the 4 GB RAM concern in 2024—I don't have funds for an upgrade now.
