Someone is suggesting I should overclock my i7 6850k for better gaming performance. I'm new to OC and used the Asus EzClock, which showed it at 3.8, but I want to push it higher. Any advice?

Looking for recommendations on XTU settings. There are many guides available online. You can check hwbot for others' experiences with similar CPUs and motherboards. The link provided is helpful: https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/taking-a-cras...-at-hwbot/. Thanks for your question!

Based on what I've observed, you aim to maintain a low continuous maximum of around 70, but the real peak is 100, causing the system to shut down to safeguard the processor.
