It seems like something went wrong with the whole setup. I'm still working through it, but it's been a tough day. I've been trying to fix this for three days now and haven't had much luck. I'll keep you posted as I go. This is really frustrating.

Hopefully everything worked smoothly! It got paused again, but the issue was resolved after a delay.

Attempting another download this time, I plan to connect it from a Windows PC and then link it to a Mac. The system warned it’s a virus, but I still clicked yes to proceed. It was the same website and link as before. (Support.apple)

Reached out to Apple support; they advised focusing on getting Yosemite functional before proceeding. That attempt also failed. Now what?
