During setup, the interface remained stuck on the black command prompt window, appearing twice with a brief delay of about one second each time.
I have already made that change, switched from Windows 10 to 11 but it didn't work.
That's the issue—the first link was intended for 11, while the second was meant for 10, but it loaded everything incorrectly due to the wrong driver settings.
I attempted the first option on Windows 11, but it didn’t work. Could your Ethernet connection be the issue?
My new PC is quite recent, and I assembled it yesterday. It includes a 3070 TI 4X8 3600 1 TB NVME SSD with Samsung 970 Ryzen 7 5800x 850 Corsair PSU. I attempted to use the ones listed on the Asus site, but they didn’t work. I tried installing them directly from Intel, yet nothing happened. The BIOS was updated. I also tried Windows 10, connected via Ethernet, but it still wouldn’t boot. I used the same drivers previously, and now I’m using Windows 11.
by any chance do you think this could be an ethernet cable problem? Its Cat 5e and it works on my old pc its not super old.
And by the way, the motherboard I'm using for my new PC is an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F gaming model.
It doesn’t seem to be a cable problem, but networking can feel odd. Try another cable test. If the drivers are current for the chipset and the LAN controller but still won’t connect with two different cables, it’s likely there’s a working chip on the motherboard.
