EA support is extremely poor. No concerns raised. Before demonstrating, I shared why I reached out. On my Battlelog I had three soldiers linked, but only needed two. I couldn't locate a 'delete soldier' option anywhere. I found online discussions suggesting you must reach out to EA directly to remove unwanted players. I thought this was unrealistic, but I did contact them. On Jan 10th, 2015, I joined live chat and waited about twenty minutes before connecting with an advisor. When I spoke, the representative explained they couldn't help at that moment because they had a dedicated specialist team for account issues, but it wasn't available then. He suggested availability between 3 AM and 11 AM EST. That window seemed reasonable. I revisited today and reviewed my conversation. TL;DR – EA is terrible.

How did you manage to connect? I only had an account issue, so I had to arrange a callback and wait for them to reach me.

Top kek. I was aware their development teams were terrible because NHL 15 was a poor experience with insufficient content that didn’t match its $60 price. They had more time to work on it than any other sports game or NHL title ever. Pleased I’ve never faced their customer service (if you mean what they call it).
No one really went through the whole conversation. It seems the representative acted in a way that felt disrespectful, and I understand why they closed the chat. They also inquired about removing a soldier from your account, which doesn’t affect your gameplay at all—so it’s unclear what prompted this concern. Keep in mind, you received assistance, but try to treat support staff with more respect.
